Here are this weekends cybercrops and just a few updates!

Crafting in Style September “Spice it Up” cyber crop starts Thursday 4th September at 7.30pm. Everyone is welcome to come and join in the fun – we’d love to see you there. Activities will include a sketch challenge, OTP, technique challenge, card challenge, as well as our ever-popular bingo, chatting and prizes. And don’t forget that our new “Ready Steady Scrap” competition started this week, so there’s still time to grab a spot and start creating!

Scrapchat is holding a Girls Night In on the 4th of October at Mt Gravatt Progress Hall, Brisbane to raise much needed funds for research into a cure for womens cancer. All proceeds from the night are being donated to the Cancer Council. We are hoping to raise in excess of $800.00 as one of the ladies attending this event has said that she will shave her head if we reach this amount. So get behind this great cause and come along and have some fun, there will be raffles and lucky door prizes with some awesome prizes that have been donated by our many sponsors. September 3rd Updates

Well Spring is here at long last, yay!! Unfortunately if you're like me that means less time to scrap and more time in the garden! I have been on a roll so hope to continue! Enough about me , here are the updates for today we have some wonderful charities to 'scrap for' very worth causes;

A Passion For Craft will be donating 10% of each sale to the Cancer Foundation to help in the fight and research in women's cancers .The fundraising will run from now (23 Aug) until the 4th of October and I will announce how much was raised at The Girls Night In. Heaven-Sent Scrapbooking - Competitions for September 2008: Melissa, Brigitte and Ingeborg created three scrapbooking competitions for this month. All the details of the September Competitions can be found on our forum (or you can just follow this link). Please upload all your entries in our September 2008 Competition Gallery.
Melissa's Competition: Challenge yourself to create a layout using only patterned papers – no plain cardstock allowed. You may use plain coloured embellishments like ribbons, flowers, brads, eyelets and rub-ons but your title should also be patterned too if you use one.
Brigitte's Competition: Do a layout on a male in your life and how they inspire you (father, granddad, husband, brother, friend etc). You must NOT include any flowers, hearts or anything pink. Heaven-Sent Scrapbooking - Our Cyber Crop is on this weekend: on Saturday August 30 and Sunday August 31! The theme for this Cyber Crop will be 'Flower Power'. We will post two challenges on Saturday and two on Sunday. You can join us for one challenge, two, three or do all of them! On Saturday night (around 7.30 pm, SA time) we will play a game too.
